Our chosen charity
ABF The Soldier's Charity

We are honoured and proud to be the affiliated choir of the ABF: The Soldier's Charity.

Our musical director has a long standing connection with the charity, having performed for them in countless fundraising concerts over the last decade and helping to rise hundreds of thousands of pounds - whether that be at the Festival of Remembrance Concert at Durham Cathedral (one of the largest Remembrance concerts outside of London), to performing with the massed bands of the RAF, there has always been a strong link to the charity.

When we were creating Fortissimo, one of our key goals was to support the community and to raise money for worthy causes, and the ABF is certainly a worthy cause.
ABF: The Soldier's charity supports soldiers - past and present - and their families by providing grants to support independent living, elderly care, education and employability, mental fitness, families and housing.

It's important to us that we are able to support charities when we're performing, and will take part in fundraising for other organisations when invited. However, for corporate or paid-for events, we will donate our fee to ABF: The Soldier's Charity.
