We will make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy rehearsals and choir mentors and vocal line representatives will support you wherever and whenever you need it at rehearsals or performances.
Once you have decided to stay with us, you will be provided with a full welcome information folder, which will contain all the useful information about the choir and its leaders, the music you need and in-depth details about membership
There is no “audition” however there will be a vocal check with our musical director (MD) to ensure you are comfortable within a range and can hold a very simple melody. This will help our MD understanding your voice type for those of you who may not have belonged to a choir family before.
Subscriptions
We are a self-funding choir which means we need to levy a small fee for membership of the choir.
Subscriptions are payable monthly and are £10. The months of December and January are free months therefore the annual cost is £100.
If you think you will have any difficulty paying the subscription, please speak to a member of the committee who will be happy to make an arrangement with you.
This fee also covers all your music, insurances and the provision of a branded choir polo shirt, plus a purple scarf/tie for formal events.
